    ...sounds easy, but if the Chinese play hardball in return and don't support the funding, then management is immediately under pressure to place the shortfall, otherwise the Company may not be in a position to proceed with the Russian gold project, let alone continue to develop the LS resource.

    If the shortfall could not be placed, Mgt would then have to re-consider the current "clayton's" offer.

    Like you, I would like to see a formal bid at a higher price, but I suspect there are a few different permutations as to the outcome...
