In my experience of selling big-ticket software solutions, buyers will put off the final decision at the first hint of uncertainty in the world in which they operate. The USA election would have slowed decision making to a crawl and the result would have un-nerved any CFO in healthcare looking to progress a business changing software project.
However, these opportunities don't go away unless the competition is successful in our stead. We would have heard if that were the case. I suspect there will be little movement in the industry before the inauguration of the new president. I daresay there will be some light shed on these matters at our forthcoming AGM. I will be attending.
