He also said that the existing shareholders 'looks like' they will be receiving money in proportion to their existing shareholding. It was definately SRK we were talking about.

If that is the case then it would be a buyout with x% cash and x% new stock. Perhaps?

Investment companies and their analysts do receive info before the market many times - they should not pass it on obviously before it is released though .

I am not saying that this is definate. As I have said I have no idea - just repeating what I was told (could be a mistake - by Commsec?). I am posting here to see if someone knows/heard a rumour?
