    So the parent company using an investment fund, in this case Franklin resources, cannot manipulate the share price with its 5% holding to swallow the whole thing up at a lower price?

    I suggest you look to Eastern Star Gas as a case in point. Santos pays $500m at $1 for 19%, the stock gets shorted for two years before Santos eventually swoops at 60c and takes it for 90c. Paladin going through the same thing with Rio Tinto.

    When these big company borrow there shares out your in trouble. Its not just a conspiracy theory it's happening across the board with many others. Something to be mindful of.
