It is a good tool to keep track of what is happening. Can be quite revealing at times!
For instance by tracking you can easily see the strategic pattern of buying the recent No 1 holder adopted to accumulate his large holding some pre oil sands some after. With the volume he acquired the threat always existed that he would dump if one assumes his only interest was oil stocks.
He has now done this but there have been a few newbies prepared to take what was on offer therefore limiting any dramatic share price slump, hence my previous comment.
You will remember one poster here was trying his/her best to pour cold water on the idea when I initially put it up that there was something at play early last month. Pays to check facts before trying to ridicule others. The volumes clearly indicated there was movement and this continued right through the month.
Been pretty quiet here of late so maybe a few have flown the coup opening up pathways for some relevant conversation.
