    Fellow holders.
Thought I might just have a chat about CAP.
Its been a busy 4 and a bit years since Carpentaria listed on the ASX.

Firstly, directly below, is mainly found in the CAP asx announcements in 2010, plus the trusty HC threads.

In July 2007, Mr Conglin Yue (investment entity) had purchased approx 19% of CAP at an approx average of $0.50. A takeover was discussed between the two parties, and conjecture aside, 1 of the two sides did not agree to whatever number was talked about for the T/O.
The deal ended there. He still has %14.96 (2012) of the company.
The amount he has owned since then has changed somewhat over the past 18 months. I am guessing simply for tax purposes or to average down etc.

CAP's second largest holder is AGO. Who, in the past few months has been selling up its smaller resources/projects to raise cash for it (my thoughts only) to start building major infrastructure i.e. railway line for it's WA projects.
AGO currently holds just over 9%.

So we have on the register, our largest holder who has already had a tilt at the company, with a price of at least $0.60 for a T/O (the price he offered must have at least been higher than the current SP of around $0.50). We also have our 2nd largest holder, with an interest that they would probably be happy to palm off for a decent price.

I do not usually like to raise T/O topic very often, simply because it is the catch cry of HC. However, after reading through some of the posts from 2010, it just pushed the thought to the front - what has changed since then. Well....

    CAP has enlarged management
CAP has more cash than when it IPO'ed.
CAP is in May either going to get $25 Million in cash + a DFS started.
    OR.
Well.. its all conjecture for now.

So, what does CAP have on the side, ignoring the HAWSONs project and its measly 1.4 Billion tonnes.

Well, Nic and his little team have kept busy to say the least.

J/V with Ramelius (RMS) - Gold - withdrawn - not much there
J/V with Stellar Resources (SRZ) - Gold -??? No details?
J/V with ActiveX (AIV) - Drilling occurring again this year

    CAP %100 owned projects -
    Euriowie (Discovery)(Tin)
    Koonenberry
    Temora
    Broken Hill Tin-Tungsten
Braemar Iron - J/V with BMG... but.. that will end due to court case, CAP recently acquired more tenements above current holdings, must be something there. Cost approx $1.4 if CAP wants %100 (private company held it).

There is probably 1-2 more little exploration projects going on, but, I have about 30 tabs open on my browser, its all getting a little complicated.

    Royalty agreements -
Hughenden Coal project - possible $100mil in income over 20 years of production ( if all goes according to plan )

Also, CAP has spent over $10 million on exploration.

    So..
Please, anyone that has read this far, I am not trying to ramp, simply summarize some info about CAP.
Very interested in others thoughts, as the next 3-3.1/2 months will see something occur.

Personally, I would love a real J/V to come in, pick up HAWSONs and allow CAP to get on with what it has done best, explore.

    Good luck to all holders.
    IMHO.
    DOYR.
