I am not saying that this is the case with Lebara.
Quite a few MVNO's have not been able to pay their bills..
And then the carrier rather than put them in liquidation, pretty much gets their assets for nothing..
Eg. MVNO company X owes $10M to Vodafone. Vodafone gives them $10m and acquires the lot.
$10m then used to pay Vodafone back! Or the company would go broke and all customers disconnected..
So nice win for Vodafone, and probably cost them next to nothing..
