All new model bodies are excellent, spend your money on quality lens
generally you cannot take good pictures with crap lenses
you can take excellent pictures with low end cheap bodies and a good lens
I'm a Canon devotee, it has the best lens' and it is world no 1
Canon lens's are expensive, but all the manufacturers are making them these days and your choice is huge
The M3 with a cheap adapter can use all the canon lens range
The M3 is a compact body. Light & compact is the future I think, If I was starting out new today I would go down the lightweight route as good camera gear is really heavy and the lightweight stuff is catching up fast
