NM has a lot tied up in DGR. It is not logical for someone nearing retirement age to take the company private. He will maximize his price and can trade down at leisure utilizing a listed vehicle.
Are his fees excessive when we look at average directors fees in Aus?
He has made some mistakes but no CEO is infallible. The crucial point is that he has generated a considerable
collection of valuable assets over time. The true value of SOLG and AJQ hasn't yet been priced by the market.
OBS was a success story which direct investors in OBS and DGR made money on. I did.
