Sounds like a fair quarrel BM. One of the things I intend to push Mather on in this proposed letter which I havent written yet, is some transperency regarding the giving out of options... As a suggestion I will put forward a cap on issuing options to staff... At least then we can cost it in our forward projections.... everyone likes a fair suck of the sav- eh fellas??..

Also dillution would stop being an argument for the rampers. As long termers we could simply cost in the worst case scenario for dillution and create an investment thesis and decision based off of that... We are staff, we are the staff that pay the wages eh fellas??. Dont give us balls, even golden, fair suck- thank you.
Honestly and personally I havent taken the time to analyse the effect of the dillution on DGR fundementals so it is one of these factors that make me nervous about the stock.... I wonder how many people come on here and read the thread and think, "gee, I cant gauge the true value here on the parameters Im being provided... too difficult to price, plenty more fish in the sea"
My gut tells me dillution overall has a negative effect on the NTA of share price, but probably more on sentiment- amplifying the effect to much higher levels... the question thus being "what is the best way to make your employees rich?"
A good example, if you take what posters say here as gospel, which you shouldnt, but anyway- in this thread so far one person complaining about costs suggests Mather makes a million per year... another says it cost 500,000 to drill a single hole. Well in a comparative sense two holes pays the wage. Nick Mather wasnt always golden balls obviously. At one time he was elephantitis and puckering bung hole. Now he wants a million a year.. golden balls gets what golden balls wants.
find me 5 more tier one resources and that million is very well spent sir.... I do think there is evidence to suggest that Mather and co can back themselves into corners however, another point I will outline in this mammoth letter undertaking I have foolishly committed myself to..
Ill pen this thing up and probably post before sending.. Any concerns you have Im willing to add.. There is great substance among the posters here which I respect. Ill be respectful to GB also, Ive pretty much called the guy a messiah.. Im a DGR man through and through.
