I am in the top 20 holders.
I am up 60% including the post Orbis div. My return has been about 6-7 % compound.
Over the past year alone I have experienced 3-6 baggers in other mining stocks like COB, ASN, TKL and DEG. In hindsight I would at this point in time be much further ahead if I had sold DGR at 0.12 and put the money into those 4 stocks.
But if you study top investors like Buffet they look for value. DGR is grossly undervalued.
The other 4 stocks mentioned are valued mostly on blue sky potential whereas DGR has an NTA including unlisted investments around 0.25. When SOLG was 0.46p the NTA was near 0.40.
DGR has been irrationally priced for a long time and this does frustrate me but it is the most undervalued stock I own. I am here for the long run.
I believe options should be offered equally to shareholders who are not staff or directors.
I agree that small closely controlled coys aren't subject to the same institutional scrutiny as major companies like BHP.
I disagree that NM should be attacked for excessive remuneration. He has created value. His building up SOLG from 1p has been masterful. Every other junior trades at NTA plus blue sky potential so we should be well over 0.50. Our price has been manipulated down for a while and I don't know who those parties are. More crucially SOLG is being held down to facilitate a low ball bid. These actions are not NMs fault.
If SOLG is taken out at 60p which is the price for the existing NM options then DGR would have over 220mill in the bank. I believe there will be an on going annual dividend. The money could be invested in deposits and loans to subs at 10.0% and to IPO unlisted subs like Archer, Auburn and Coolgarra. Management fees to subs, underwriting fees for IPOs and interest income could exceed 20 mill pa.
