But on a serious note I watched that interview with Nick on BRR. Thank you to whoever posted that.

You can see what Nick is doing, he's talking up SOLG as an exploration company. "we now have a blueprint for finding large porphyry systems in Equador" or words to that effect.. (not exact quote) Very clever in my opinion.

Majors reluctant to spend, but if you are looking at copper in the future (and majors are) then why not spend a little more on SOLG now and pump a bit of money into their successful exploration team and you just never know you might get a couple of good finds and reduce the amount you get bent over (if your a major) when making acquisitions

I don't reckon Nick would want to sell the lot with SOLG though. It's a major find. He has said he doesn't like J. V's, but SOLG is potentially a once in a lifetime. At least get a chunky royalty. But I think a J. V is the way forward. But not yet, not yet. (gladiator -the film)

Solg went up by 15% the other day, and then held most of that gain the following day. 15% is the estimated amount the resource will grow if hole 19 is a success.....For anyone thinking SOLGs price is getting carried away with itself. I also read that if hole 18 and 19 are a success then resource goes up 50%. So dyor as this info is surely conflicting although I am no resource estimating specialist.

Nick also talks up Rio and their latest windfall, 4 billion profit or whatever. They are in another league to Newcrest balance sheet wise. Rio have cash, desire, and considerable block caving experience at Argyle diamonds, they have even pumped a bit of coin into block caving research through Australian universitys. They have a copper guy as chief in J. S, he is yet to make an acquisition and Rio are being accused by some shareholders of having a "lazy balance sheet"

All IMHO, and I'm pretty much jacked. Not Father Ted jacked..........but pretty jacked!
