One huge advantage with SOLG is the fact they are 2.5 to 3 years ahead of the others who are exploring in Ecuador. At present on the SOLG LSE, there is a comment on Royal Road and Barrick from Mystique (Thank You). Cut and Pasted:-

Interesting is that Royal Roads hold a massive claim (400,000 ha.) in Columbia. This claim is immediately north of Cascabel, on the Columbia side.
Who else is sniffing around? Don't rule Barrick out as being a suitor for SOLG/Cascabel.
That's pleasing to see, but not quite the commitment that Newcrest has with DGR. GLTA.
