Thanks again for the good wishes. Unfortunately you continue to ignore the points I’ve made in previous posts (strongly suggests you are emotional), so I’m giving up, but just to summarise; Myopic - you have a serious love for this word. Used it 4 times in 3 posts that I’ve read and used incorrectly every time. You’ve been repeatedly told that we are taking a long term view on rnt, yet you still apply your favourite word ‘myopic’, which means the exact the opposite. Suggest you look up definition for yourself and try an antonym or two.
You can’t say I’m happy with the current state of the business coz I’m not. Your putting words in my mouth (and you’ve gone to the extent of creating a quote above that I have never said. That breaches HC policy but the mods are asleep at their desks and I couldn’t be bothered waking them). My position is that I’m not happy with the business at this point, but I am happy enough with the forward plan and their strategy to believe they’ll turn around. You keep quoting the loss figures (semi-accurately), and yes they are making a loss, but it’s the trajectory of expenses and revenue that I’m watching and they are moving to diverge. That’s all I’ll say on finances, you can DYOR! And finally, if I had to guess (and yes this is my speculation) why you have lost money here (you admitted a loss but didn’t like me using the term ‘smashed’) it’s because you got caught in the hype of so many others as the SP price raced above 30c and then everyone realised the company was some years from turning a profit and SP came back down. But that my friend is judging a business by its SP and you shouldn’t do that. At this point you are still judging it by its SP and again I say you shouldn’t do that. If you want to make money you need to be able to identify rising businesses before the SP takes off and I’m closely watching rent to see if it will be one of those businesses. But nothing is certain on the asx. Peace
