I think Vitamin D posted an article that is scare mongering B/S and I'll quote from the article....." If you can prove your broker or banker manipulated your loan application you can keep your home and cancel your mortgage. It's a free house.....blah, blah,blah,blah..."
I mean really. I hope the person in the article can back that up with just one example...Firstly Bankers/Brokers that manipulate applications would do it on behalf of and at the insistence of the purchaser!!!! And secondly if the purchaser defaults on the loan, the bank will eventually foreclose the mortgage and sell the property which is hardly handing over a free house to the purchaser!!!! Biggest load of B/S I've heard today so Vitamin D gets zero credibility from me for posting such utter scare mongering rubbish!!!! Westpac from memory got a massive $35 million fine which aint going to dent their profits whatsoever and then they responded by putting up interest rates which will most likely recoup all of their losses!!!!....and then there's potential litigation from SGH at some time in the distant future that will probably drag on for years and settle out of court that SGH will be desperate to do on behalf of their clients in a class action in order to recoup some of the billion dollar hit they took on the failed UK expansion!!!!
