I'm also thinking of buying on the lows before XD, in order to get the dpu too. But no matter how low we can catch prior to XD, it will still fall again on XD,... and subsequently after that !

The only thing we can do is to hold long-term, and to remove the need to sell. Because if there is a need to sell, then a risk comes in : Risk of the sp not having recovered yet,... or NOT having had the chance to recover anymore, depending on our average holding price.

Continue collecting the dpu and putting in a provision of unrealised losses seems to be the way to go for the banks now.
