High AUD is good for all Australian Solar companies. ATM there are no solar manufacters in Australia. Also companies even in China quote in USD.
Regarding REC price atm they seem flat around $30. But I have no issue if REC prices drops. What is important is a Gross FIT. NSW is on board so far. if we can get 2 more states to follow with a similar FIT to NSW. Then IMO Australia will become an annual market of around 100MW. That is equates to around $500M in revenue for the whole Australian Market.
The Question then is how much market share can SOO get???
Also the above is only the PV solar side. I dont have much knowledge on the hot water systems
