i was reading the other day on the SIR forum about the likely hood of finding nickel in the top soil instead of drilling samples at the Fraser range. The main geologist said that it would be unlikely to find nickel there with out drilling, such is the style of deposit which SIR have found...

I cannot for the life of me find that interview now or the thread on that forum regarding this. Maybe someone else is better at searching than I??

I hope that MB is not thinking that it will be just a matter of scooping some dirt from the ground, putting it through the spectrometer and hey presto, Nickel at dundas. Seems thats exactly what happened with the gold exploration and look where that got us.

THR gets quite a mention as a 2nd tier owner of permits in the area on the SIR forum. If Dundas is done right and we find something it could well be our salvation...

There isnt much hope for anything else right now short term IMO...
