I think the big games like Man U vs Liverpool have a lot of out of towners theses days and scousers really cannot afford the tickets, especially to the big games. Kills the atmosphere.
West Sydney vs Sydney were up there with the best atmosphere anywhere. Last few seasons has been very average, since the drop off in Wanderers support and the lack of effort from fans and players alike, since the move to "souless" stadium.
Hoping for better things next season with our return to Parramatta and the new Wonderland. I am a Wanderers Foundation member so probably biased. Best atmosphere was when we came from 3-0 down to beat the roar in the semi-final at Parramatta a few seasons back, only to lose another final in Adelaide the week after.
