Sorry guys but my observation from the sideline is that the original godfrey ownership ran a good iconic business and then sold that business for a nice price. A private equity firm who bought a nice price business then feedlotted that business and then floated that business on the stockmarket which made for themselves even greater profits from the nice price which they paid. Investers can pick at the remaining dead carcas. I can buy a dyson from JB which has 40% off and a shark navigator from Big W which includes bonus non stick frypans and matching knives. Not to mention the amazing online " free delivery" options available. Godfreys should be evolving. For example, the service side of the business and brand support via their bricks and mortar shops should be being developed and expanded. Opening new stores with unincentivized managers who are appointed to the company owned store by the company wont cut it im afraid. Good luck godfreys- great iconic company - terrible adds !
Just my opinion. Thanks for reading
