It was mentioned to me today that Kordamentha took on the administration of another carbon company - through the SA office. Any Ideas?
So CP is in administration FEA Carbon is in administration Timbercorp is gone Great Southern is gone Apparently Macquarie is trying to lay off their share of Climate Friendly CCF, COZ share prices are way down
numerous smaller groups are gone Who's next?
we have stalemate in USA, no successor to Kyoto, growing public indifference but strengthening science to support agw On the other hand the EU is lowering the cap, most of the problem at Copenhagen was political surrounding china and india and the developng world, china is said to be trialing carbon reductions, India is moving, many developing countries want more done not less, The UNFCC is looking at altenratives to gloabal consensus and back up plans post 2012 American states and regions are acting, the EPA still can technically enforce clean air and anti CO2 laws.
What we need to know is a clear indication form our political jerks to give some certainty. We want the liberal party to come out and say they will support NCOS int the future and labour to allow trees to be used in NCOS until a CPRS comes in.
MCL will want to sell into the NCOS market and after speaking to buyers this week the buyers are not willing to part with the cash until there is some certainty in the NCOS or a successor. The longer they wait and the longer MCL takes to get credits issued the more credits there will be to chose from. DYOR - my opinions and hearsay only
