Anyone still holding NDO is at the mercy of the majority shareholder. Perhaps the majority shareholder is a kind, fair and generous entity which is selflessly seeking the best outcome for all. Perhaps not.
The protections offered under the corps law and common law against oppression of the majority are very weak. The main problem is that the major shareholder uses the resources and cash of the company to fight the little shareholders. The little guys lose unless there is a cashed up and skilled person amongst them.
The majority owner now appoints all the board and decides on the pay of all the execs. A management contract for them to manage the company should be expected. Don't expect much news flow. Expect share buy backs.
Bend over and wait.
