Always disappointing when something goes into limbo so does the individual unfortunately.

@dreamBIG s post made me think, what actually has been going on the last while in biometrics. From a quick surf, it appears not many new leaps been made and even existing enhanced leaps have tripped still, like Samsungs latest Iris scanner still had issues apparently.

Anyway, one other thing I did a quick partial check on was our IP and Patents. Will still have to dig a bit when more time but, appears we just had a Patent granted in the US in July this year. Not that we'd know unless we looked

Seems one of the last filed back in mid 2015 subsequent to WBTs earlier ones and now published as granted 11th July. Always nice to know Patents still in force & being granted

Was also interesting to track through some bits and see that Intel had filed a couple of new Patents under "Field-of-view ocular and facial alignment guides" in mid 2016 and published as Applications in Jan & Feb 2017 with Patent Citations by the Examiner to reference an earlier WBT Patent application from 2014 now subsequently the one above. Doesn't mean Intel involved obv, just possible overlapping parts of the tech / patent thought process or design that the Examiner must have thought should be referenced.
