Good on you and your partner Rebs for raising such a thoughtful daughter. I am encouraged by those of her generation ( millennials ? ) that I speak to. They seem to be much more empathetic and caring than the generations before them. It's almost like a trend amongst them to be a decent person.
The school kids strike for climate change is probably a similar example. While they are all really inexperienced and probably not completely across what they were striking for, at least they were out there having a go.
Bit like the sixties with the hippies protesting against the war. A little bit of that isn't a bad thing imv.
