I get exactly where your coming from, my take on things has always been that it's easy to get investors on board to raise money early on in the story whilst there's still talk of pie in the sky stuff.  

When the fundamentals are still in tact and no real issues ha e come to the forefront yet it's easy 

Once the setbacks start rolling thru and the shares on issue start blowing out that's when things become more difficult. 

I would have happily bought a few in the cr with the extra options if I was able to as at this price I see loads of value until there is a change in fundamentals that tell me otherwise
