Its surely going to go above $2. The year end dividend is usually slightly higher than the interim so its likely to be 6 cents making 11 cents for the year and 14 cents or more is predicted for 2011. If IIN a company with similar revenues to M2 that paid a 3 cent interim dividend compared to M2s 5 cents is worth $2.30 you would think M2 is worth as much with its better dividend and lower debt. There may be a slight dip next week after the 22nd March when M2 goes ex-dividend. Regardless Im happy to enjoy the excellent fully franked dividends M2 pays.
