Oaklands mine feasibility study on trackMay 20, 2009 Miner Coalworks Ltd says a bankable feasibility study (BFS) is underway for the development of its Oaklands North mine in New South Wales.
Coalworks said engineers Minarco-MineConsult would act as study manager of the BFS for the Oaklands North project near Albury in southern NSW.
"The scope of the BFS will include mine design, coal handling plant, mine facilities and infrastructure," the company said in a statement.
"A rail upgrade and operational plan will be developed as a component of the BFS."
The company also announced Coalworks director Graham Coall had resigned to pursue other business interests.
"The board takes this opportunity to wish him well in his future endeavours," the company said.
At 1539 AEST Coalworks shares were trading half a cent weaker, at 18 cents.
