now now Oz.. I've been very transparent lol. Have a small and I repeat small parcel simply as a trade (last week's SP was ridiculous even for Towner and his mates). On a fundamental basis nothings changed, but if they hit paydirt the SP may bounce a little if it hasnt appreciated on the chance they might hit something.

Otherwise have been out for a while on the basis that the SP wasn't going up much more once it hit 27/28 in Jan and I've been proved right. A low of what 21c? is disgraceful.

As far as the article goes everything I said is true - I have virtually all press coverage of AMU on file. (google alerts even for rubbish can be useful.)

My point was they've covered AMU b4 even to the point of having AMU on their cover as one of their 10 best picks of ther year ("shares" did the same one year) ...One glance at the chart tells you none of it stopped the selling - FOUR years and counting. Look at any timeframe chart from a monthy to a 60min and none of them are suggesting this is anything but a trade

In fact on a 5 year daily chart you could argue the long term downtrend was broken mid last year only to have a new parallell downtrend resume in the 2nd half of last yr taking the SP to NEW lows.
And will the double bottom mean anything? hard to say when they appear not to be able to make any money even with a supposed $60 "margin" in production.

UNTIL Towner goes and the Co starts actually doing something concrete about its appalling SP performance, general market reputation, lack of broker interest, lack of apparent support from its own major holders (Wylie's refusing to top up!) etc etc etc imho its unlikley AMU will break the dominant trend. 4 year trends dont turn at the the drop of a hat or the firing of a CEO.
