I doubt you'd be holding if you thought AMU was a one well wonder. Sure , it'll add substantially to the reserve valuation of AMU (about 30%) but you agree on a reserves basis even now without smolik AMU are seriously cheap.
As far as the article goes anything that takes out some sellers has to be a good thing.
