A weak fiscal report from Fluor Corp. (FLR) bodes poorly for Australian-based peer WorleyParsons Ltd. (WOR.AU), says Deutsche Bank analyst Craig WongPan. "Overall we view Fluor's 2Q result as a negative read-through for WOR given a low level of new awards, project delays, weakness in mining and metals and [a] guidance downgrade," WongPan says.
If Fluor is considered a peer, then it would makes sense to compare the SP of WOR to Flour.
Over the last 6 months Flour -17% v WOR -30%
Over the last 12 months Flour -32% v WOR -52%
SP appears a lot overdone.
