This lead to SLR being put in "the dog house" since January 2017. The SLR chairman (David Q) attributing the SP fall to "the Pilbara gold rush" did not help it's credibility. I agree that cool hand has done a reasonable job at stabilizing SLR his recent comment reported in an article (I can't find it now) to have only taken him an afternoon to be persuaded that the Murchison was not viable is an indictment on the then current management who had wasted SH's wealth in the venture. LD (the then CEO) and BK (a founder still on the board) should (amongst others) have carried the can for this; the fact that we are still carry them (and paying them with a 36% rise) on the board does nothing to help the board's creditbility. We can only hope that cool hand can rise above the quicksand and make a success of the company with a good next quarterly (i.e increased production & lower AISC) followed by a takeover/merger/sale) which will get production up to a level where institutional investors will take note.

This is the worst stock in my portfolio and has been for the last few months. I think I need a seat at the executive table, perhaps we should look at buying a stake in some Asian gold mines.
