1,Ivanhoe international may split with IVA aust as a result of RIO buying out Ivanhoe international for the mongolian copper/gold project. I must state this is just a rumour.
2, Due to the heavy rain caused by the cyclone a lot of company's in that region have suspended drilling.
3, More risk appetite coming back to the market, so investors will punt on a cheaper stock for maximum leverage.
regardless of these factors, IVA is a great well managed company. I remember buying this share just after the GFC and making a killing when they discovered the merlin deposit. IVA has been my best investment to date.
