I have been pondering this also — trying to ‘see ‘ what is likely here .
I’ve always said too .. “Big man ( aka Big Company , Big Money ) -always Wins” ..

However - SOL I almost feel some trust toward ?
Even Newcrest to a degree , it’s a long journey always in the finish .
( Being too trusting to believe in good nature , has been my life’s downfall pls know . Though I don’t wish to become totally disillusioned . More skeptical of intentions than used to be .)

“A new order” here is alluded to as required - there is desperate need for Finance ! & Funds ; greater investment! by governments, private equity , corporations , and more recognition of what is occuring in the important Resources and Minerals space .
High quality deposits , in good locations especially where highly accessible , environmentally sound , and of financial benefit - and really should be assessed and brought into line for production.

Like to think - that in the Curry , with this emerging resource at Mt Freda ? -
    * that there could be some decent , neighbourly mutual benefit discussions occur !

A Win : win for all — and especially!! for long- held shareholders in each company .

Eating small shareholders up , aka when the whale swallows the little fish - is contempt really for the money and large investments including over time , with significant Ups and downs , that been placed into smaller good companies by retail shareholders . ( General shareholders have no control & can’t participate in negotiations or know what occurring . Can only decide to trust management and their investment or not)

More respect for the Shareholders behind who are the companies- ought to become more important.
We are being told that investment into a house or abode is becoming less common for this next generation - smaller investors entire futures rely on safety over time and some exponential growth , to be comfortable and acquire wealth .
Long periods are usually pretty lean , along the way .
More investors are required - to take on risk and invest in early stage companies too . Compared to putting money into a bank account or vanilla fund or ETF - also not possibly very profitable in next decade +

Enjoy anyway - senor makes some excellent and wise points - Re Mergers and Acquisitions.

More so ; really like his point that -
** there MUST be change ** , in his opinion .

‘A changing of the guard ‘ - move on gradually of current older major controllers - and more and new support come in for precious metal and other base resources investing for the future.

More focusing towards ~equitable profits and less self- promotion - he also says.
( less large behemoth ego - large corporations are often the least efficient and reliable on the ground )

My thinking again , relevant here , for near future -
    * the likes of Souls ? ( SOL ) - not just LICs and ETF broad investment, but actual more primary investment to come from is needed for early financing of Major precious resources.
    - Direct investment and finance by new mutual goals entities , more than regular finance channels and banks directly .

    * the actual larger resources companies themselves- of course , to provide finance in , for equity / control of resources . Outright contribution and aligning with smaller early stage risk taking companies rather than straight TO certainly not of the entire company as matter of course .
( shareholders deserve more consideration , as well as be respected , and the good, experienced management teams increasingly)
JVs elsewise at the very least .

    * offtake partners - or likely international commodities brokers in the resources-
-the Traxys , large agricultural commodity global interests diversifying included , and

    * direct end - users - the largest precious metal participants ( Newcrest is in overlap here ) , though significantly eg. the car manufacturers in battery minerals space - which desperately needs more Finance .

*** oil and gas companies are moving into this space -
NB . SOL actually have held significant investment positions in oil and gas . Mature market now - high profits been and held at this stage of the decades cycle - large companies involved will have excess liquidity and be looking to divest from primary energy resources holdings .

    And-
** individual and grouped shareholders themselves - more and more .
They already tap us for funds and support .
Traditionally been only major wealth individuals.
    * more ethical credit note providers behaviour .

All is becoming highly visible to anyone .
Opportunity and world is opening up .
Best to help one another .

    Hope makes some sense

    Enjoy this vid perhaps -
Recommended to FAST FORWARD to 3:40 min.
( can ignore first 3min 40 , is more General economic and gold discussion )

    - 3:30 - first mention — forwards -
    * good points - @ 6:40? ( maybe after 6 mins )
And nearer end . After 10min and beyond .
    All good .
Quote - my memory version :
“Big companies should not presume it is okay - just because they think it is fair business - to think to come in , and buy a desired additional resource company for a small proportion of true or overall value “

What is particularly Wrong with this - blatant , pervasive activity ! .. is -
    “ the shareholders suffer “ ( are ignored , and disrespected utterly . )

FYI - worth watch- from 3:40 even -
    A wise gentleman I do think .
