Wednesday, July 09, 2003 STRIKER Resources' Seppelt 2 diamond pipe in Western Australia continues to grade around 2 carats per tonne.
Three bulk samples have been taken in total, with the latest of 296t returning 593 carats of commercial-size diamonds, including four that were above 3ct.
In total Striker has recovered 1500ct of commercial-size diamonds from Seppelt 2, with the aim to reach 4000ct for assessment of diamond value.
The company said the pipe is currently being cut back to access more kimberlite at deeper levels.
Shares in the junior were up 0.2 cents to 4.3 cents in early afternoon trade.
