Okay the problem with melanoma is that when you remove the cancer you want a margin of 5mm - 2cm depending on the thickness of the melanoma. Now if someone uses Black salve to destroy the cancer, how do they know 100% all of the cancer has been removed if the tissue is not being tested?
Now for the above cancers T3 & T4. These cancers have the possibility of entering the blood stream. It doesn't matter in this situation how much tissue is removed as you now have melanoma cells in your blood and that is why that lady was being checked every 6 months.
