Talk about using a sledgehammer to swat a fly... your average questionable spot can be removed in the doctor's office with a simple 0.5-1cm core biopsy and a couple of stitches. Heals up in a week or two in a nice neat line. Instead these poor deluded saps go full scorched earth, effectively inducing localised gangrene in a 1-2 inch diameter over the course of months... people are weird.
