A very general comment on Stan only, he also likes to keep it simple, MA 180, Rising vols and RSI.
Been searching for the trending stocks using his criterion, none of my latest have kept up the volumes, though this has only lengthened the trade IMO , The gap you refer to is not evident in the PnF IMO, very interesting chart indeed.
