Hope that changes tomorrow when half year figures are released. Hoping for a 1-2c interim dividend.
There is a large chunk of their work for blue chip clients that simply is going to go away, eg the Wheatstone project.
The sale of Toll at a 50% premium to Japan Post today reminds me that good Australian companies have a value to overseas players, especially when the Australian dollar is weaker.
Matrix is, of course, nowhere near the size of Toll. But it is a top 3 worldwide player in it's own niche markets, with a massive export content.
The shares were never worth $7, but 70c - please !
The shares must be worth at least dollar now on anything other than an Armageddon scenario. Long term much more.
