Thanks for your considered post teddyward. Acknowledged.

We have answered hundreds of feedback emails, implements hundreds of ideas and changes, and asked for testers on the site. 

If members don't always see invites or notices,  even if up as sponsored posts for 24 hours, there is little more I can do. 

The design team are progressing some more of the latest ideas, but some of hte rasons for some of hte changes are business decisions that can't be overturned. However, I have some ideas being sent to management that may alleviate some of the concerns. 

Keep checking back to the new site, as changes are ongoing. 

Feedback thread has threads for errors and fixes, and as this was an advanced notification about the launch, from early weekend, I will close this thread now. Feedback is all noted, and isn't purposely ignored, but we do run a fairly small team, so resources make it difficult to answer every single post. 

Once again for anyone who has miissed the hundreds of posts on guides to the old site, there is a link at the very bottom right of each page to "Old HotCopper" but we have found already that many members are saying they have acclimatised to the change within two days, which is an excellent response time. 

Going gently over a couple of months and keeping the forum layout mostly the same, with offering the two sites running in parallel has eased member stress no end.
