It's not even about high frequency posters it is about productive posters  who have been around the block a few times. . Many higher freq posters are a waste of space treating it like twitter cluttering the space and not creating a useful forum for quickly gaining information and providing information or opinion for discussion. The only way these essential posters will continue to participate is if it only takes them moments to see a large amount of information as they are donating and contributing their time.Yes they also acknowledge the need for ads correctly placed and the correct type.  It is a symbiotic relationship with a fine balance and always swings and roundabouts.

    Many older generation posters

Everyone uses it differently and I am not sure which section of HC users they consulted -older, youger, phone accessors, pc accessors , tablet accessors   if they did but they obviously use HC in a vastly different manner to me if this is the result.  A lot of newer posters would be unaware of ability to roll back an a lot would never have used the intensity and density of information available and know how important clean and simple data is on smaller screens and trying to keep it on a single screen.  Most will have 2nd screen or window with live trading data, announcements  alerts etc.

key things like not landing directly on stock discussion page, extra  page breaks, fonts ,extra clicks to achieve  same information and more cursor movements , line spacing should never have got past stage one of good design and feedback from site users

Many posters will be suffering fatigue over supplying ideas previously and never getting feedback on them and then not seeing them incorporated in new designs.  Putting in the hurdle of emailing and getting no response and probably duplicating numerous others doing the same and being seemingly palmed off with no feedback thread??
