I had a test of the new site layout months back - and, I think?? I flagged that somewhere -- I still cannot see how to do it - all I do atm is to click on the first post that I see - then, click on view thread -

I agree, it would be good (and obviously a requirement)  -  I wouldn't have thought that difficult to have a click somewhere on the latest posts page.

One thing I do like is the up and down arrows now on the iphone - only had an up one before - so, that's a clear improvement. (no idea if that's available on android or browsers other than chrome)

As to the new look in general - I said when I saw it months back - and, I say it again now --

It feels quite intuitive to me - hard to quantify that - but, I am fairly sure that most or all will be happy with it after a short time getting used to it.
