Hello Mick and sorry for taking a while to respond. I am not qualified to speak on soil analysis results but other people who are have told me that early results are similar to what SIR had and the basic elements associated with nickel discoveries are all there. However there is probably low value nickel throughout most of the Symons Hill region.
The biggest problem is finding the larger deposits probably 400 - 500M below the surface. It has already been stated that SIR was very lucky to find Nova in an early drill hole and that if they had drilled 20M further away they would not have clipped the main ore body.
SIR's exploration update issued on 10/09/2014 advised that their latest drill hole to test a new conductor actually missed the target and will have to be drilled again. The diamond drill hole went to a depth of 1,048M so that was a nice waste. Of course SIR has plenty of cash in the bank but BOA is being much more conservative before they start to drill targets.
Don't know when SIR will drill the 4 new conductors close to BOA's lease but if they did find something there, surely they would have to consider making an offer for BOA's lease?
