The supposed original ‘Pacific News Service’ item appeared to be doctored for obvious reasons. Part of an ongoing smear of BCL.
As @Andrsite showed, BCL did not claim to have paid for the soccer balls, only to have assisted with distribution.
Pretty desperate stuff!
