Why would keeping JL as CEO be positive for MUN? He has consistently shown he cannot run this operation successfully.
I am not convinced that the replacement is the best option, but he seemed OK when I spoke with him 6 months ago.
I think JL is steping down so that he can sell his 10.5m shares at some stage without having to report the sales (he will no longer be a significant shareholder with 5% plus intererst or director). As he is likely to remain a top 20 shareholder for some time we will only know if he has sold when checking the top 20 list.
MUN is now a very small punt for me.
Lets see if the new CEO can deliver.
