Not sure when results are due to be released.
I want to know why they didn’t pay out all of the H1 profits in the dividend as they usually do. What are they using the retaining earnings for?
It doesn’t make much sense for the CEO and majority shareholder to want to pay himself more as a wage and less as a dividend tax advantages are better being paid as a dividend. This is because he holds a lot of shares in a company that does not have to pay more than 30% in tax and as the dividend is franked he pays more extra in tax.
I have to admit that I thought this company would turn things around sooner but this may last a lot longer than I originally thought.
