Keeping the Bicarb pumping is probably more about getting another year or two out of this tugboat than anything else. imo.
Hard to believe I was offered a job at this same plant in 2009 and told what a great future it had.
I was in an Automotive Tier 1 Supplier at the time and looking to move on.
Time flies and the futures not looking so bright anymore but glad I didn't go with this one now that's for sure.

Mr Roberts also highlighted the carbon tax yesterday, saying it had been "the icing on the cake", adding to the pressures Penrice was facing.
"We are facing a carbon tax of $8m in two years and five months' time so I can't get capital to run our company," he said.
"I have difficulty convincing anybody we'll have a viable business in two years and five months' time."
