That's an oxymoron. A Government can't create a cryptocurrency that it controls. All they're doing is creating a database. If they attempt to copy properties from Bitcoin into it, it just ends up with a massive attack surface for criminals to attack. They're just using the 'cryptocurrency' buzzword to feed off gullible people through social signalling. It looks like its not even from the Singaporean Government, just another scam by a bunch of useless rent seekers and con artists.
