Great post, very informative. I too have become disillusioned with certain LICs, namely tgg and hhv, who rip their shareholders off when they raise funds. The money I had in them is now in two vanguard ETFs, vts and veu. The low cost has attracted me. I am hopeful the micro cap sector will do well in the late stages of the bull market, as someone else said; but your concerns are food for thought.
