The ASX doesn't look at the reason for the price rise - it's just an automatic trigger. So CCU will receive one, even if the answer seems obvious.
It's then CCU's job to state that there is no disclosed information that would have an effect on the SP that should be released to market.
An explanation for the rise beyond unreleased information may be given, but it is not required. ie. CCU could say "Although there is no material information that we have not disclosed to the ASX we believe our recent price rise is due to the recent upwards movements in the price of silver"
