I've had a bit of a think recently about all of these Botswana coalies and what chance they have in the full spectrum of things. Just like the REE bull market in 2010, the recent graphite run, and the boom in Aussie unconventional gas plays, I believe the time will shortly come for Botswana coal stocks to have their own boom. Often rallies like these come when they are least suspected - when the stocks are trading with a real 'dog like' sentiment. Take NTU in 2010 for example. No-one wanted that stock when it was at 7c. Then there's OBL and co searching for petroleum in the middle of nowhere - again, OBL, a stock trading near its all time lows before the market woke up to its potential. The list goes on.

The switch will click for Botswana coalies when a definitive result comes out of the feasibility work on Botswana infrastructure in my opinion. The smart money jumps into bull runs way before anyone else catches on to what is happening - that time is now. We have price targets of 17c-21c on this stock. They aren't pie in the sky estimates, merely an estimation of what NMR could be worth if the market woke up to what is beneath the surface of our tenements.

Management put a half hearted effort into the scope study announcement, oh that there is no doubt. But that in no way can take away from the value of the insitu coal, of which some is as shallow as 60m below the surface.

With both the weekly and daily stochatics suggesting that selling is at a climax, its hard to see any downside from these prices, and with enormous upside on the cards with Botswana really powering their economy along with development after development, who wouldn't want a piece of this.
